Facebook Pages
CaveatsPage-only posting (no personal timeline). Reach is pay-to-play organic-first.
Overview
Facebook Pages is the B2B and community side of Meta. Posting is well-documented, but organic reach is low — paid boost is the only reliable way to reach even existing followers. Flayr surfaces the organic-reach caveat so users set expectations before posting.
Daily posting limits
- Posts per day50 posts
- Caption length63,206 characters
- Page count per user250 pages
New account rules
New Pages have no documented throttle, but pages under 30 days old rarely break 2% organic reach. Flayr suggests warming up with boosted posts for the first month.
Content type restrictions
- Video lengthUp to 240 min (post) / 90 min (Reels)
- Image size30MB per image
- Video file size10GB
Rate limits
Graph API: 4,800 calls per hour for Business-verified Pages. Flayr uses Zernio-managed access so user-level rate limits are rarely hit.
Known issues
- Organic reach on Pages averages 2-5% of followers. Plan to boost anything you care about.
- Scheduled posts to private groups frequently silently fail.
- Cross-posting same content to multiple Pages same day gets down-ranked.
How Flayr handles this
Flayr warns users when organic reach on a Page has dropped below 1.5% for 3 posts in a row and suggests boost options. Cross-posting detection flags same-day duplicates before publish.
