API keys and the read, generate and analytics API come with Pro and above. Publishing, posting queues and review decisions over the API come with Agency and above. The MCP server for AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and others) comes with Pro and above; publishing over MCP needs Pro and above and counts against your plan's direct posts, with the usual rate limits and Ember charges.
Upgrades are immediate with prorated credit. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. Your content (images, videos, carousels) is ALWAYS preserved. Connected social accounts are kept for 14 days after downgrading to Free — upgrade within that window to restore them automatically, otherwise they’ll be disconnected and your Zernio seats released. No content is ever lost.
Every AI generation burns Embers metered by model and duration. Your plan adds a monthly allowance, and unused monthly Embers carry over for as many months as your plan allows. If you run out mid-month you can top up with a one-off credit pack (1k / 5k / 15k / 60k) — no plan change, no subscription bump. Packs stack on any tier and never expire.
Stock voices are 4 Embers per 1,000 characters (about a minute of speech) and your cloned voice is 15. Creating or re-creating a clone is 100 Embers. Pro holds 1 clone and 60 min of cloned speech a month; Premium 3 clones and 150 min. Your own ElevenLabs or Fish Audio key costs no Embers.
