How to use it

1. Open Pending from the sidebar.
2. Use Needs review to approve or edit items waiting on you.
3. Use All content to find anything you have prepared.

Approval workflows

Set up multi-step approvals so content is signed off by the right people before it goes out.

How to use it

1. Open Settings → Approval Workflows.
2. Create a workflow and add the reviewers for each step.
3. Content that needs approval waits in Pending → Needs review.

Review queue

Scheduled posts to sign off, and workflows waiting on your decision before they can continue, on one page. Links in review emails and notifications open it.

How to use it

1. Open Review queue from the sidebar, or follow the link in a review email or notification.
2. Under Scheduled posts needing review, oldest first, select a post to open its preview.
3. Add a note if you like, then choose Looks good, Edit or Hold. Holding asks you to confirm with Hold post.
4. Under Workflow approvals, choose Approve to let the workflow continue, or Reject.
5. When you reject, add an optional reason, then choose Reject, Reject & edit or Reject & delete.

Good to know

• Rejecting a workflow approval stops that workflow run.
• Reject & delete deletes the content for everyone and cannot be undone.
• On the new navigation, this page opens Pending → Needs review instead.
