Your own AI keys

Save your own Gemini or Anthropic key and run chat and image generation on it. Calls on your key cost 0 Embers; your provider bills you directly.

How to use it

  1. Go to Settings → AI keys, paste the key and save. flayr checks it with one free "list models" call first.
  2. Models on your key appear in the pickers in their own "Your keys · 0 Embers" group.
  3. Pick one of them whenever you want to run on your key. flayr never switches you over by itself.

Good to know

  • Carousels, workflows, video, voice, the API and other flayr pipelines always run on flayr and cost Embers.
  • If your key fails, nothing is generated and no Embers are charged.
  • The key is encrypted; flayr only ever shows its last 4 characters.
